Welcome
Starting Therapy
Therapy can feel daunting and asking for help can be the hardest thing to do. I understand how difficult it can be, I had to do it, too.
You may be feeling lost, unseen, or worn down by the sense of being different. Perhaps something doesn’t feel quite right, but it’s hard to name. Living with uncertainty, self-doubt, or difficult emotions can be exhausting.

The images you see on my website are photographs taken during quiet walks and reflective moments. I am often drawn to subtle changes in the landscape, how the light shifts and colours change with the seasons. In many ways, therapy is similar. We pause. We observe. Together we will notice subtle changes in your internal and external landscapes and move gently through.
Why choose therapy with me?
I have always been interested in understanding people and studied social anthropology at university. I then spent over a decade working in the UK and EU civil service serving communities.
I realised over time that my interest was in helping individuals and pursued further study to become a psychotherapist.
I have an MSc in Therapeutic Counselling and am committed to ongoing personal development and training.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapists and adhere to their ethical standards and guidelines for best practice.
Choosing a therapist is hard, the choice and decision can be overwhelming.
I will listen to you compassionately, empathetically and without judgement however you show up.
I will support you through reflection and gentle challenge.

About me
I am here to help you find your way - with empathy, understanding and an individual approach tailored to your personal needs.
I am mixed race (half British, half Malaysian Chinese). I have lived in various countries in Europe, Latin America and Asia and travelled extensively. I have a particular interest in questions of identity and belonging — themes that are central to feeling safe, understood, and at home in the world.
Before training as a therapist, I worked for over a decade in the UK and EU civil service. Living and working across cultures can be enriching, fostering adaptability and resilience. At the same time, it can also bring feelings of disconnection or uncertainty about what or where home truly is. This experience of belonging everywhere and nowhere was a key influence in my decision to retrain.

As an integrative therapist, I will draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to respond to your individual needs and unique circumstances. I work in a client-led way, which means you set the agenda and the pace.
In my psychotherapeutic work, I take a very individual approach to your concerns and therapeutic goals. The methods I use are adapted to your needs in order to provide you with the best possible support in your development process.
By exploring your past and your unconscious processes, you can better understand your current problems and conflicts.
It is hard to know your authentic self if your day to day experience is of existing in unsafe spaces. My role is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where we can work together to help you navigate your way through.
I have experience working with clients facing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, burnout, questions of identity and belonging, neurodivergence, existential questions, long-term health conditions, life changes or transitions, complex family relationships, intergenerational trauma, and inter-racial or inter-faith relationship issues.
